December 2012 saw the arrival of our own Crane Lorry fitted with a brand new 68 ton per metre fully remote controlled crane which is capable of lifting 33 ton at 1.8 metre and 3.2 ton at full reach which is over 16 metres. The lorry is a 32 ton rigid which with drawbar can be increased to 44 ton with a 450 horse power engine.
We plan to use the lorry purely for lifting and transporting machinery and is well equipped with all the necessary equipment to complete the task. We’ve wasted no time getting on the road and completed several jobs one of which before the arrival of this tool would have forced us to hire in a mobile crane. With orders already placed for 2013 we are confident that this asset will prove to be fantastic investment.
