Emcon Services was asked to relocate machinery from the Welding and Fabrication department, Motor Vehicle and the Engineering Departments from various sites around Mansfield to the new innovation centre which will open this September for students.
The move involved the safe relocation of over 50 machines using our own Fork trucks, Crane vehicles and curtain sided trailers.
As part of this job we also advised and supplied packaging materials including pallets, boxes and bubble wrap so that sensitive equipment could be packed prior to the move so that timescales were not exceeded. we also ensured that all the motor vehicle lifting ramps was re certified with LOLER certificates after installation and sent in our CNC engineer to commission all CNC equipment as part of the turn key project.
